Light air travel kennels?

This is my first post, so please forgive any mistakes about form or substance...:p
We are trying to travel with our 95lb shepard/retriver cross this summer to take him to the cottage - he loves swimming and would be fun to have with us! The trouble is that the max weight for Westjet is 100lbs - he currently weighs 95 lbs but needs to loose another 5-8lbs (the vet agrees with this).
Does anyone know of any lightweight airline approved kennels? If we could find one that weighs about 10lbs I think we could get him on:thumbs up
Any tips or suggestions from more seasoned airline travellers woudl be great!

The problem is, a kennel large enough for a 95 lb dog has to be pretty sturdy. A 10 lb kennel that big wouldn't hold him. All of the ones that I would reccomend would weigh about 20-30 lbs.
