My chua.

June 28th, 2006, 01:45 PM
My 8 year old chua. is having very unusual bowel movements. The substance is thick, clear. Yesterday there was light tinted blood in it. I don't know what to do.
Thank you

A vet visit would be the best advice to give. Good luck and let us know what they say. :fingerscr

Please take your chi to a vet and take a stool sample with you!

Thank you. He is a very nasty dog. He bites everybody. This is why I hate to take him to the vet.

I'm sure the vet can handle it just fine as long as you warn them ahead of time (if they don't already know). My dog is sweet as pie, but petrified of vets so she freaks out a bit. We usually let them know ahead of time and they are "extra" nice to her. Blood in stool isn't something you really want to mess around with.

Maybe he'll be less snappy if he feels better. Please make the effort to take him, he could have a wicked stomach ache and you wouldn't know it because dogs cover things up.
