I recently adopted a 9 week old female Valley bulldog (Kahlua), who's now almost 12 weeks.... When should obedience training be started.... Is she still to young? She is almost house trained but seems a little to hyper for any commands other than sit.

Anyone out there in the Halifax NS Area, able recommend a good training course?

Patience and impulse control must be taught.

You can start right away. 12 wks is perfect to really get your leadership established and to have him looking to you for the answers.

You can start Puppy Kindergarten any time now. I've heard good things about this school: http://www.kismet.net/pawplex/abus.htm

Somebody should tell them not to abbreviate "about us" into "abus"... ;)
