Frenchy ... I'd say he's high-energy but not hyper.

He gets approx 1-1 1/2 hr at the leash-free daily plus a long walk in the evening. As long as we stick to that, he's pretty much a couch potato in the house. That's at 7.5 months old.

That's for a show-bred english setter, the field bred ones need more exercise than that.

Great dogs though, as long as you can commit to the exercise requirements.

Prin, I love his micheveous eyes too. You should see the "woe is me" looks, I'd swear he practises them in the mirror when we're not home.

What an adorable puppy! I just love his colouring, it's so unique. I believe the K9 unit of the police service in my area uses as English Setter as their drug dog but I would have to double check with my hubby. :)

That look says "I'm all out of woobies!" Love the pics, I grew up with an Irish Setter and your boy has the same look my Shea did :)
