Megan Mullally on Martha Stewart

My daughter and I were watching Martha Stweart the the other day and the guest was Megan Mullaly of Will and Grace. She showed the cutest picture of her two dogs. Both poodles I think, or maybe poodle crosses.

The thing is--she made it a point to say that they are both rescue dogs. She wanted people to know that there are a lot of great dogs already in need of homes. I thought it was very responsible of her to make sure that people knew that she didn't go out and get a designer breed/hollywood dog.

Also, last week the Today show had a representative on from Petfinder and they presented some children and their parents with rescue dogs. Apparently the background info was all done ahead of time and the right matches were made, but the fun part of showing the kids their new pups was done on camera, with their parents present.

A good week for TV ! :pawprint:

Yey!!

Matthew McConnehey (or however you spell it) was on Oprah yesterday and his old dog was a rescue (I think, I hope). A lab chow mix. :)
