drooling

My mother-in-law is visiting with her 1 year old Yorkie. The dog fell in the pool this morning and was pulled out by her collar. She is now drooling, holding her head up (nose pointed up) and her back is arched slightly when she walks. She is able to swallow--ate some cat treats when offered to her--but when just sitting she drools.
Question: Should we wait and just let her rest to see what happens or should she go the the DVM now?

what she actually drowning or did she menuver herself to stay a top of the water?

she hasn't drooled before and her head was above water.

I *think* she should be fine.

Thanks, we will watch her carefully. She is still barking at my cats so that is a good sign!
