Hi,
A friend of mine's pit bull was attacked by another one of their pit bulls when they weren't home and now she is scared of other dogs. This wouldnt be a problem but she tries to attack the other dogs when they get close to her. This results in her not being able to bring her dog over to play with other dogs or even bring her dog (adrienne) somewhere where there are other dogs that she will be close to without her muzzle.
It would be great if there was a way to get her gradually become more comfortable around other dogs. But we dont want to rush it or have any bad confrontations because she is a very big pit bull. If anyone has some suggestions on how long we should wait to try, or how we should do it. Its sad that she cant play with other dogs because we are pretty sure that she wants to but we cant trust her. Hopefully one day shell get over getting attacked.
