I had to travel to Chico from Arizona in my motorhome with my cat "Willie" due to urgent and sudden hospitalization of friend. Unfortunately my cat nosed a window screen open in the night (he has travelled more than 30,000 miles with me in past).... I am distraught. He is missing in Chico---lost early a.m. May 7 in the neighborhood of Mildred and Marguerite Avenues. Have posted flyers and gone door to door in neighborhood. Visiting vets and humane society tomorrow.... HELP! My cat is a very large, long-haired, grey tabby Maine Coon-like cat. He has claws; a collar with metal tube containing contact information and is not fat but rather bony. This cat was adopted as "teenage" kitten and has always been very easily frightened so it likely will be difficult to catch and will hide under bushes or in dark places....I get him to lie down by calling him "willie, willie, willie, you come here right now" (said teasingly, and he may not come but usually will hunker down).
