My Crew

Hi everyone,

I signed up awhile back but don't do much posting as I find it hard to find the time with work, night classes, 8 pets and fostering and volunteering! I am hoping to be around a little more since I have a bit more time on my hands now.

He's some pics of my crew:

Lita (calico on the left), Lily her sister and Sully (black cat).
Short story is, Sully was our 3rd cat that we adopted from a small SPCA organization. He had been in a foster home for 5 years. He was a feral cat and is still very skittish. He alienated himself from the other 2 cats we had since he is rough with them. About 4 months ago I brought home Lily and Lita from a shelter I was volunteering at. They too are feral. They shacked up with Sully and I now have 3 happy kitties that play together!

Thank you! I will post more pics soon. Healthy, yes..happy..were are working on that! Some get along..some don't.

LOL..considering I like my cats and dogs to get wet and dry and only good brands like Wellness..plus I like to buy better then average litter..it does get expensive but I never add it up cause I know it would be scary. I am at the pet store more then I like to admit and I am still wearing clothes from 5 years ago cause I don't want to spend a dime on myself!:) But I don't mind one bit!

BTW..glad you think we have tile, it's actually linoleum (sp?) that is "mock" slate. Very durable for having pets but the hardwood..not so good..never again!

Its not all fun and games some days let me tell you! I wonder what I got myself into some days. Brand new house..skittish cats running around scratching floors and furniture, dogs chasing each other and the cats..tons and tons of dirt and hair and several litterboxes..it can be taxing and a lot of work keeping up! But they are my misfits who had nowhere else to go, so I don't regret it for a second, but I am full up!

You know you have met your limit when yet another person tries to give you their cat and you immediately say no. I would have to move out to fit any more pets in our house! Of course when we get a bigger house and bigger backyard..I am sure there will be more!
