Sleepy Cat

Hello Everyone,
I am new and trying to figure out what is going on with
my cat. She is 5 years old and suddenly started sleeping constantly
2 days ago. I havent seen her eat anything and have tried to feed her
but she just sniffs and wont have it. I even put water on my finger to
drip in her mouth. She acted as if she was having trouble swallowing but
I think that was because her mouth is dry. She is still using the litter box
so I know her kidneys are working. No trouble breathing and no wheezing.
She has never been an active cat but just doesn't act right. She doesnt
close her eyes all the way when she does sleep. Just sounding off and rambling, sorry. Any suggestions or has this happened with anyone else.

Any change this dramatic merits a visit to the vet, and as quickly as possible. She could be in serious trouble, difficulty swallowing is probably not dry mouth, it might even be some kind of blocage. Don't want to scare you, but please take her to the vet TODAY. And let us know how things turned out.
