What's wrong with my dog?

Sometimes in Nov'03, my 3-years old, very active-male Pomeranian, were vomiting repeatedly. I took him to the vet and he was given an injection and some prescription to stop him from vomiting again. The vomit stopped at that time.
A few days after he finish the prescription he started to vomit again and the vet gave him another injection and new prescription. He did not vomit again ever since.

Around two weeks ago, his body was more reddish than normal, and he was very uncomfortable (restless), as if he wanted to scratch part of his body that is beyond his reach. The next morning the redness in his body disappear.
A few days ago the redness on his whole body appeared again, and his face was a bit swollen. So I took him to the vet again, but the vet did not find anything wrong (his temperature at that time was 39Celcius). He was given the injection and prescription (antibiotics).

Ever since the last visit to the vet, he was not as active as he used to be. He looks sick, and spends most of the time sleeping. When I stopped giving him the prescription, the redness in his body appears again.
(Note: he eats, drinks, urinates and eliminates normally)

What's wrong with him?

If you feel your vet does not know, get another opinion.

Your dog could have something as mild as allergies to something in the environment or food..or it could be something else.

Good luck and try another vet
