Neurological Disorders in Cats

Hi, I have a sad update on Larry :sad: The barn kitties are now walking ( if you could call it that hehe) But Larry has sprawled out back legs. He is unable to "tuck" them under his body, we were just at the vets for a quick check up but he wasnt walking then. He is going back in to get looked over. The vet said it could be a neurological disorder. I didnt have much time to talk over the phone this morning with her and want to write out some questions for her.
However I would like to know if anyone out here has had a cat with ND's?
Im wondering if hes always going to walk funny, his sister is just fine ( little wobbly but is grasping the concept better)
Im so upset about this, Will Larry be able lead a happy life?
Also, any suggestions to ask the vet next week would help me greatly too, im not thinking so clear right now.

Well, its not neurological, its from improper nutrition and prolly from how he was sitting in the womb. Im happy to hear that, with a bit of excercises and once he builds more muscle in his legs he is expected to make a good full recovery from this!!!! ( may always walk a bit funny but not all "splayed" out!!!!

That's good news...poor little guy. I'm having a little chuckle picturing you doing physio exercises with him - you know, lying on his back with you "bicycling" his little legs, supporting him in the kitty therapy pool, encouraging him along on the teeny-tiny kitty treadmill, making him tuna shakes. But seriously - how lucky they are that you found them in time!

LOL it is kinda a funny mental picture! Thankfully they came to be here when I am still off work for the season, I have all the time in the world to work with them!
