Kitty was fine the day before yesterday. Yesterday she started plodding around the house, walking along the walls and under chairs. We think she is blind. She is 11 years. Last year we took her to a vet who said she had diabetes. We put her on diabetic food and two small shrimp with yarrow sprinkled on it (every day). Her fur improved, she is slimmer, she no longer throws up. She also started going into the yard and loves chasing moths. This spring when the snow melted, she was cautious about going outside. She can't tell when she is on the edge of the chair or the porch. She seems OK and we are hoping its just her eyes and she will adapt. She was panting for just a few seconds when we were outside. She is not crying but is not purring when petted. Can anyone give us the benefit of their experience?
