An apple a day . . .

It's a mistake, a big mistake, to show my kitties something you're eating on the assumption they'll realize they don't like it and leave you alone. It didn't work with bread. It didn't work with the orange jello (with real oranges in it). It doesn't work with applies either!

Those big bites out of the apple are from me, not them. ;) But they spent a good fifteen minutes licking the heck out of the apple and biting the stem. Remy finally did manage to bite off tiny chunks of apple and eat them. Oh, kitties! My adorable little weirdos!

Awww how cute!! One of my aunts has a cat and as soon as he smells you eating fruit he comes a running:D (so of course we always let him like whatevers left:rolleyes: )

My cats eat weird fresh foods too like bananas, bell pepper and grated carrot. Cats may be obligate carnivores, but ours are certainly open to alternatives!

It does not matter what we eat,the cats always have to check it out,usually they don't like it:p but they come running when they hear the fridge-door open.
Even at dinner Rocky sits on the chair beside me,just to check out what's for dinner,after a sniff,he leaves:D

I had one cat that had cantalope confused with raw meat! He got ahold of a half eaten rind and growled at me when I tried to take it from him.

Funny you should say that,my cats love cantaloupe.My Vinnie when I first got him,would eat even potato-peels,maybe because he had to scrounge for food when he was little,he was found at an industrial park.
However,no more potatopeels for him!!
