I have a 5 yr golden and a 6 mo. shih tzu. I have always used Frontline Plus for my golden. I am looking at cutting costs now with two, and have purchased Bio Spot for both, as it is 1/3 the cost. However, if it doesn't work, I will switch back. Anyone know if this product works, and is it safe? Also, do you have to reapply if they get wet or have a bath? Thanks!

Personally, I wouldn't use an over the counter flea medication. If you can buy it at walmart, or petsmart or anywhere without a prescription, usually those products are sketchy, or don't work too well. If you look up bio-spot online, you get more hits for 'bio-spot killed my dog, cat, etc' than you even get for places selling it.
I don't think I'd be cutting costs to use a product that seems less stable and more questionable than the leading prescription flea and tick meds.
