I am wondering what temperature a dog's nose should have and if a cold nose would be a sign of the dog being sick in some way?

The way a dog's nose feels really is not a good indicator of a dog's temperature or health. Is your dog acting unwell?

No it's usually just a sign of the temperature in your home or outdoors.
