What can I do about this problem? mona_b December 19th, 2003, 08:05 PM First of all what do you mean by smelly? And how long has this been going on? Jenn7788 December 19th, 2003, 08:26 PM I have two cats and only the one has this problem. It has been going on for about a month. I can't explain the smell but to say that it comes from her anus, and it is really strong. I thought maybe it might be her anal sacks but she is not licking any more than usual or scooting. mona_b December 19th, 2003, 08:36 PM Hmmmmmmm.Well the only thing I can suggest is to take her to a vet.She may have an infection of some sort. Luba December 19th, 2003, 08:52 PM Has there been a change of diet or litter? Have you examined the stool to see if there is any blood/mucus / worms in it? Is the cat crying/losing weight? amaruq December 20th, 2003, 11:46 AM I wonder if the anal glands are infected? Are they licking there alot or scooting their bum? | ||||
