Trading Spouses

Does any watch trading spouses- :D

I watched it last night a crazy english and a basically uptight american family both living in the San Fransisco Bay area.

The uptight family thought that the engish family should have impeccible manners well because they were English. :eek:

Anyways the uptight dad decided he was going to invite their friend that actually was a specialist in dining ettiquette over to teach the other wife some table manners. Miss manners asks the english lady if her house is comparable to the one shes staying at, they think their house is really special but its really nothing special - the english lady actually has a nicer house IMHO.:p

All through dinner Miss Manners kept making comments about how she was using her cutlery and trying to correct her table manners. The english mom basically told her to sod off she'll hold her knife how she wants too. :evil: :D

But then the next night they all go out for pizza with the dad - and hes making and answering calls throughout dinner - so thats good table manners.

Meanwhile the uptight mom is staying with the english family - the first night they get her drunk and she passes out - then they take her to a rugby game - which she is horrfied about.

Then they take her to play paintball (honestly dont know if I would be into it)
she tries it for a few minutes then hurts her finger and is out of the game.

Then uptight mom invites Mrs Manners over to their house to teach them manners. But the english family wanted nothing to do with her - they were having to much fun.

Anyways I liked the english family although they were pretty quirky I think I could have lasted about 20 minutes with the other family.

I've only watched Trading Spouses once - in a hotel room in Atlanta of all places - and it was the episode where the God Warrior Lady from Louisiana went berserk and who later became a sidebar cottage industry . . . . . . and all her God Warrior friends gave a rather stunning cold shoulder to the harmless astrologer who took her place.

I was scarred for life.

I liked wife swap better, but now I can't stand it. At first they chose people who were different, but now, they choose them because they totally clash. I'd like to do it one day though... But I think the other mom would make me look bad...:o

no you would make her look bad. She most likely wouldnt have a Boo and a Jemma.

lol she'd probably have like 8 kids, 4 ferrets, 5 fish and 7 cats and her house would still be spotless.:D
