What to do about toy hog

I love both my kitties, but Booster is such a toy hog he always wants to play with whatever Remy has. Remy just lets him take whatever it is and usually ends up sitting there watching Booster while he plays. If I try to give Remy a different toy, then of course Booster wants THAT one.

Also, because Booster is much more frenetic in his play, Remy usually is more impressed with whatever toy Booster has too! But he'll never try to take it away from him. He'll just sit and watch.

What can I do to make sure Remy actually gets to play with his toys?

:p I know what that looks like!!

Would it make any difference if they had 2 of the same toy? I don't really know what you can do about it if you are not around...But if you are around, you can have one of them play in a different room or area while you entertain the other. It gives them a chance to have one-on-one interaction with you...although I do expect the other kitty to get lonely without an audience and want to play with you guys instead:D! I'm not sure you can win this one!

I don't know how to help (I'm not a cat person, really), but the title of this thread always gets my attention -- Next thing you know, there'll be tea-cup hogs too.:D

LOL, prin, you're too funny!

I nearly just spit soda all over my screen... just picturing a Toy or Tea-Cup Hog.

I buy 2 of everything for my dogs but they will still fight over the same one. I have to remind them every now and then that there are actually 2.

Remember, Teacup Hogs are really just the runts of the litter! *holds up a wee little piggie*

They have multiples of all their toys, but Booster knows whichever one Remy has is the BEST one. ;) Maybe I'll try shutting one kitty in the bedroom, one at a time, while I play with the other for a few minutes. I can't think of any other way to keep them separate at playtime . . . One is always running to see what the other's doing. ;)
