Two years ago my dog had cancer removed from his paw along with his toe. He now has a tumor on his ear that the Vet feels is probably cancerous. Over the past few months his hearing has been going. He had been very affectionate with people, and now sleeps downstairs by himself (which is extremely unusual for him) He still has his appetite. Within the last week, he has been taking 10-20 minutes to poop. Today, there was a clear jelly like substance with some blood coming from his rectum. We don't want him to suffer, when do we take him to the vet to have him put to sleep. We are concerned that he is dying and don't want him in any pain. What are other signs to look for?
