Our Cat got burned

While my mom was cooking dinner a mouse ran across the kitchen counter, and little black jumped up to catch the mouse but jumped right on top of the burner. Her front paw is swollen and we have it wrapped in bandages and aloe vera. My mom doesn't want to take her to the vet unless she sees an infection or change in behavior. She is a nurse and says there isn't much a doctor could do unless their is an infection. What do you guys think? I havn't seen the cat, since my mom lives 400 miles away. Sould I get some pain meds or anti inflammatory meds for her?

Has your mother ever had a burn like that? It's extremely painful and if she's a nurse she must know that. Cats are good at concealing pain, but their pain is the same as ours.

I hope she'll get some meds for the poor cat.

We cannot tell how badly the cat is burned nor can we treat a burn over the internet. Please see a vet and come back with an update.
