Well, since we found the camera, I thought I would post a picture of our fish tank. My dad and I restored this beat up tank about 10 years ago and we made a custom stand for it while we were at it. I just love this and the stand is just the best (not that I'm biased or anything!)

That looks really nice, I wish more people would post pictures of their Aqua Tanks.. they are all so beautiful and plus it can give a person ideas on how to setup their own tanks for the future :)

Thank you. It's a 55 gallon tank. We have an algae eater, some mollys, wags, a couple of platys (sp?), some of the bigger goldfish (Jim wanted these), and a few others that I'm not sure of their name. Just basically a bunch of fish that aren't aggressive, but are very peaceful. We pretty much just go over to Petsmart and get them there. The only one that is expected to get big is the algae eater, but I've had them in this tank before and basically they are just the "big sucker" and I think they are neat. Otherwise the fish should all stay relatively small.

Unfortunately the goldfish will also get big.
Most fancy goldfish grow to 8 -14 inches.
Others such as common goldfish and comets can reach
3 feet.
Recommended stocking for a tank for goldfish is 30G for the first one and 10g per additional goldfish.
I wonder though....why are you keeping a cold water fish in a tropical tank?
Goldies will not do well in a tropical tank nor will those other fish do well in a cold water tank.
Also, depending on the "sucker fish" it may also outgrow your tank.
My parents had a common pleco that grew to 24 inches in 3 years
when I was a kid. It was massive. Most common plec's need 100g or larger.

Its a beauty of a tank though.
