Everytime Raven lick down there (her private parts), there is god aweful, foul, lethal smell!! Is smell is like almost like a toxic gas or something!!!!

Its been like that for a few weeks now, but I dont think I've ever smelled it before.
I havent even changed her food nor given her anything new.

It happened with Daisy,it was an urinary infection, might have your vet check it out just in case.

Could also be her anal glands need to be emptied. That smells pretty bad. Have your vet check to make sure they're not infected or ruptured, and then he/she can show you how to empty them. Personally, I'd rather pay the extra bit of $$ and have the vet do it each time. It's really nasty. :yuck:

Anal sacs often empty on their own when the pet gets goes to the bathroom.Even if they aren't impacted they definately smell vile when emptied. They aren't glands, but two small sacs on either side of anus.

Well how often is each time, as you mention above?

It depends on the dog. Like Lise said, they should empty on their own. Some dogs have issues and need help emptying them. Could be once a month, could be once a year, could be never. It totally depends on the dog.

I would say go to your vet first, make sure you know what you're dealing with for sure. It could be the anal glands, it could be a UTI, it could be another issue (you haven't mentioned if she's spayed or not?). Once you know what it is for sure, then you can deal with it. Come back and let us know once you know what you're dealing with, and then we can give you suggestions on how to help her out.
