sores on paws and mouth?

I have two kittens, 6 months and 10 months. My youngest had sores on his front paws around the pads of his feet. The vet has ruled out ring worm and treated him with antibiotics. They were starting to look better but now the corners of his mouth are swollen and scabby. I have also noticed that his lymph nodes are very swollen. My other cat is perfectly fine and neither of them have exhibited any abnormal behavior. After reading and doing some research I think he might have a staph infection. How do I know for sure and are there ways I can treat this at home?

A staph infection can only be treated by vet prescribed antibiotics, so I'm afraid you're back off to the vet, but take the both of them. This can be transmitted and you need to make sure both get treated together :)
