I got some of Jemma and Boo's tricks, so I thought, why not start a trick thread! Woohoo! :D

p.s. look at them white teethies- she's 5.5 years old... Yep. Almost 6... :p

This one is blurry (I wasn't ready), but look how high she can jump. This is a new trick she learned about 3 weeks ago. Before she would jump for stuff you threw, but now she can jump and take it out of your hand. Her head is probably above 6 or 6.5 feet in this one.:)

She sure can jump!Mine you'd probably do it,if there was a steak at the end of the stick!

LOL My doggies are less demanding that way. A plain ol' stick is enough to get them to do anything.:D Jemma's muscles are so crazy.. (It's kind of sad envying your dog's hiney and legs..:D )

I don't think there's anything out there he wouldn't fetch (we've even tried breakables like eggs, balloons and crystal)

The trick we are working on now, is getting Dodger to cover himself with a blanket! He can do it with a hand signal but not with only a verbal command right now...When its perfect, I will post that one too!

Somedays I think Ebony is a circus dog, the way she walks on her hind legs like a person! She is almost the same height as my youngest son (3) Sometimes she walks behind my son, holding onto his hips.
I will try to get a pic, but the minute I take the camera out, she stops doing it to come to me.

It's not sunny right now and that's ruining my day!:mad: I hate cloudy weather!

It's funny because Dodger's face is more delicate boned, but he still has a huge, thick tongue. It's like greyhounds. I always expect a thin, narrow tongue out of those guys but it's the same old slobbery doggy tongue.

LOL LOL That's hilarious. No offense, but Jesse's a lot.. um... rounder :o than Jemma... It's funny the way she's really sitting ON her hiney. She looks like she's about to keel over.:D Very, very cute.

When she stands up she is fine and she really doesn't look round, but for some reason they way she sits, she really looks like she has a beer belly. It took us six months to teach her to sit pretty. She just couldn't balance herself and would roll over. It was pretty pathetic. :o

Don't worry!! Dodger was the same! I tried to teach him to sit pretty when he was a puppy and he just didn't have the coordination. I actually gave up on the trick because it seemed like he would never do it. I tried a couple of weeks ago (Dodger's about 20 months now) and he did it perfectly with a lure so we've been perfecting it ever since. It is great toning for their back!;) Dodger is still pretty sloppy with his front legs but I'm just happy he learned how to sit pretty!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one. She still pathetic when she does it, but at least she is doing it. Her nickname is grace, because she's not. My little angelic mac truck! :angel:

Here is YY with her doggie imitation , begging. I don't dare tell her that a diva of her significance should not be begging or sitting pretty but oh well, she likes to learn things and is a superb mimic - and she saw some of the other certifed pet therapists who are doggies, doing it.

YY also does a mean high 5 when she has done something terrific - which is often, she is my sweetheart!!

I think she would say her best trick is opening her toybox, lol

Buster's got quite a few tricks down pack -- but I think he has ME more trained than I have him. This is his favorite mommy trick :
Beg for the door, then beg to come in, then beg to go out again, then to come in....and so on and so forth until mommy goes crazy!
