Does anyone have some good advice to give on the best ways to introduce a resident dog and a new puppy?
I know that it is very important to have a good introduction if they are to live together peacefully. I also know that introducing dogs should be done in neutral territory to both of them such as a park, but what about a puppy who is not yet fully protected for illnesses and their socialization and walk areas must be carefully scrutinized? What would be the best way to make the introduction as smooth as possible and as least threatening and stressful for all involved?
