Purebreds come in regularly to SPCA Jean Talon. If you are willing to travel to Montreal then there is Sasha's Den on Petfinder and The Westmount Cat Lady on the net, who both deal in purebreds.

Maine Coons are dumped quite often. Go to Petfinder and type in Maine Coon in ON and you'll see them.

Himalayans and Persians are quite common too.

Bengals are quite rare here, although some places may call a tabby a Bengal.

Kittens are rare, although a rescue in Montreal was listing a 4 month old purebred Himi - a rarity!

Scuba... are you looking for a cat for your home or to live in the rat basement catching them? Just from some of your other posts it seems you wish a cat to control an infestation problem? If that's the case then I don't think a rescue would adopt a cat to you?

Hello

YEs i was looking for feral cats that needed to be dumped if they were going to be put to sleep etc.. but as for inquiring about a purebred cat we actually are thinking about getting another INdoor cat currently have 1 now thinking of getting another one if we can find the right cat which is why i am keeping my eyes open. Going to just look around in the rescues i guess if we cant find what we are looking for then i guess we will to go the breeders. Anyone know of good breeders in my area let me know~! thnx
