Cops use undercover kitten in sting

In New York, a college student accused of pretending to be a veterinarian was arrested after authorities used an undercover kitten posing as a would-be patient. Steven Vassall, 28, faces charges of treating pets without a license, authorities said Wednesday. He was released on $2,500 bail. Fred, a former stray taken in by prosecutor Carol Moran, went undercover last week. An investigator posing as Fred's owner summoned Vassall to an apartment rigged with a hidden camera. Authorities said Vassall told an investigator the kitten could be neutered for $135.

She also told me of 80 kittens and 20 dogs saved from a hoarder who lived i a small mobile home. And the name of the street they lived on was Kitten Trail!!! Unbelievable!
