One of my patients - who has leukemia - has been selected as an ambassador(the correct term is Champion Child but I prefer Ambassador tho she is one of my champions fersure!) for the Children's Miracle Network. There is a special ceremony in her home town in NB (if you live in the Maritimes, it may well be on TV tonite) today at 11 AM. She is very excited to take on the role in spite of the return of her illness (She just took on Disney where she met all the Princesses - Cinderella, the Little Mermaid and the others and is ready for the world!) and I ask for all of your good thoughts and prayers - she is a joyous wonderful young woman!

Kisses and hugs and prayers for little miss Zoe !

She's a gorgeous little girl. We'll fight with her. :fingerscr

Cyberkitten, any postal address where we can send her a card, just to let her know we are thinking of her ?

I don't think her family wants their postal address posted online but she lives in Norton, NB and you could send letters there or to Zoë Guimond, c/o IWK Health Centre, Halifax, NS. I think even if you just sent a letter or card to Norton, it being a small village and the post office rec'ing stuff fior Zoë, they would know where to put it. <g> She is in Norton at the moment tho. Another option is to email her c/o fund@netcentre.ca (Some friends have established a fund for her and that is the address for that but people can contact her that way as well I would think) I am not posting this to raise money just to get some good wishes and thanks - I am sure Zoë would love any cards!!

There are two dots on top of the e (I have a drawing she just made - will scan it later, it shows the correct way to spell Zoë - shewill chide me if I I misspell it, lol) or let me check the character map....

Fixed it - Itis Zoë

and obtained permission for the postal address:

Zoë Guimond

PO Box 371

Norton NB

E5T 1J7

and.... Thanks!

What a beautiful child, life is so unfair to these little children. It makes you wonder if there is a god why would he would let little children suffer with horrible things like cancer. My thoughts are with her, and a big hug from Tucker and I too.
