Today someone asked me what he was mixed with. They told me that beagles aren't this color, his eyes and his fur. I never thought he was mixed until now, even though he came with a pedigree and registration papers. Could he be mixed if he came with them? Here are some pictures. His name is Wey Wey, he's 6 months now.

Your avatar picture looks a little different, almost like he has chocolate lab in him.
The rest of the pictures he looks just like a Beagle (he's very cute);)

While he might not make the standard in Show, he sure looks like a beagle to me - and looks like the beagle I had who was a purebred with the genetic paperwork et al. But I gather you are not into the showing thing anyway (I did not show mine either - he was a "pet quality" beagle. Then again, someone who has actually judged these things may know more than me. I wondre about the tiny spots on his tail but I have seen beagles with some brown on the legs (also non standard but what do I know, lol - I did not show mine so I can hardly be examining yours, lol). He is a cutie and looks like a purebred to me. And if he has the regsitration papers for the CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB and the breeder gave you his genetic history - and health background - who his parents were, grandparents and further on down and what championships they won then I'd say he "should" be a purebred.

What is most important is that he is cute and you love him!!!

He is a cutie.

I definately would say he is purebred...I would say that the only thing that would fault him in a dog show is his nose..It's a bit longer than the usual somewhat square nose.

Did he come from a registered breeder?...One who shows?

Also,Beagles are that colour...They also come in a colour called Lemon.

Here is a pic of a Ch Beagle.

Looks like a Beagle to me too although his Occiput and Crown seems a little off, his chest is a little over developed, as well as his legs are not standard for showing! Beautiful doggy though! :)
