My cat, mice, and skin irratation?

About a few months ago my cat started mousing. I started getting a little skin irratation, I thought it was just dry skin. But now a few months later my cat is bringing in alot of mice and I've got yucky red bumps on my arm (looks like somethings biting me). My cat sleeps in my bed with me, and he sleeps near my right arm, the same and only arm with the irratation.
Can someone help me out? Is caused from contact with mice? What can I do to clean my cat after he's went mousing?

Right now I'm rubbing herbal medicine on it (>< it really smells and stings) . I would wash my cat, but a bath that often would do more harm to him then it would help me, and I don't want to punish him for mousing by bathing him.

There's a very good chance that your cat has fleas now, and maybe mites and/or worms or other parasites contracted from the mice.

You need to take him to the vet for the appropriate medication - Revolution, etc. Take a stool sample too.

When I had an outdoor cat who regularly ate squirrels, he needed to be dewormed rather frequently.
