Donna Marie November 5th, 2003, 05:14 PM Please help us if you can. Our cat has been missing since October 21, 2003. Buster is a completely black DSH male....very solidly built. In the sunlight his undercoat looks burgandy/red. He is seven years old and extremely friendly. When he looks up, sometimes his head bobbles and he drools when petted a lot. We recently moved and he was last seen in Surrey BC in the vicinity of 137th and 67th Ave. We all miss him so dearly and hope he will find his way home.
Please email me if you think you have him or have seen him.
Thank you

I would put them up all over.Including animal shelters, vets, malls.
Where ever you can.
Is he microchipped?

Thanks Lucky.
I was on petfinder again (every week)...and came across this boy who I was certain was our Buster. Sent an email, but it turns out this guy wasn't altered, was only four or five (not almost eight) and didn't have a tattoo, but he looks hauntingly like Buster.

He was adopted last weekend. I can't tell you, but I am certain some of you will know, how heartbroken I was that it wasn't him. I cried when I thought it was, and I cried harder when I found out it wasn't.
Luba April 6th, 2004, 01:03 PM Don't give up hope!!
Did you post this on www.canadastrays.com???

Thank you. He is an extremely friendly boy, he is also a toughie. We have it in our heads that he is currently living with an elderly man or woman.....it just makes it easier on our hearts thinking that....and loving all the attention he is getting.
chico2 April 9th, 2004, 09:13 AM I understand fully how you must feel:( :(
Donna Marie October 17th, 2004, 03:53 PM Wanted to bump this. It has been almost a year since Buster has gone, but we still are searching for him....stranger things have happened, right?
chico2 October 17th, 2004, 03:59 PM I saw your post and I thought you would say he was home, but no sad
Poor Buster, whatever happened to him :sorry:
glasslass October 17th, 2004, 06:21 PM I'm sorry too that he hasn't been found. Every once in awhile, you read fantastic stories about lost pets being reunited with their families. I sooo hope this will happen for Buster! :o
chico2 October 17th, 2004, 07:19 PM I certainly agree,I did not mean to be discouraging sad
It's happened before after years, that kitties have found their way home or are found....miracles happen and I hope it will for beautiful Buster too,he looks just like my Chico..
Donna Marie October 25th, 2004, 01:54 PM Thanks for the encouragement guys....if anyone can make it back home, I know Buster can. There are some days where I just want to go out and adopt another kitty....but I feel like I am disappointing him...by having another cat take his place. I also don't think my townhouse strata would put up with it either...me having another. I am only supposed to have one, but I have three including Buster.
Lucky Rescue October 25th, 2004, 07:26 PM I'm sorry you haven't found Buster. I once lost a cat, many years ago, and it haunts me to this very day.
