Can Dogs taste through their mouth, do they have taste buds?:confused:

Hmmm. I imagine they do. I have three dogs, and each has some specific likes & dislikes about food. I know they can smell it, of course - but they surely must also be able to taste it too!

Like - one dog hates any kind of fish, including fish oil capsules. I don't think they smell real strong - initially she would take them, start chewing, THEN spit it out. Now of course she knows what they are and I have to hide it in something if I want her to eat one.

AND if they do, is it just the females!!!!!
