Wet Nose

My labs nose is running more than usual. It appears to be dripping, rather than the usual "wet".

Is this normal or something I should worry about?

This is not normal.

Several things that it can be are
-foreign object in nose
- some type of illness like a respiratory infection.

The dog should see a vet to figure out what is going on.

Good luck

If it's just clear, it could be an airborn allergy - in early spring my dogs get slightly runny eyes and nose for a few weeks. They're healthy, my vet says allergies to something, quite common where I live.

If it's at all thick or has any colour to it, or if it continues, it may be worth having your vet take a quick peek up her nose. Is she sneezing, rubbing or pawing at her face?

Thanks for replying. Her runny nose is clear...just a drip now and then. No other strange activities such as itching or sneezing.
