Do Your Dogs Beat Themselves?

So here is the question, do your dogs beat themselves? Jesse does it all the time. She has the big ropes -- one regular and one with a meat bone attached to it -- and she is constantly beating herself with it. We swear she is going to knock herself out eventually because it hurts really bad -- she has hit us too many times to count and we've gotten bruises from it. She also beats herself with any toy she has -- from a big stuffed monkey to the small squeaky toys, anything at all. I think she is brain damaged!

LOL We call it "numchucks" when he swings the rope on either side of himself...

I always said that dogs were way more robust than we think they are... (On that note, I was doing Jemma's ears and she scratched me as a reflex and my dog does it hurt. My poor thin human skin!:D)

Gomez does it also, he has a rubber dumbell type thing and grabs one end in his mouth and shakes it HARD from side to side, bashing the sides of his head as he does it - the really funny part is that as he does this, he stomps his front paws - remember "He's a Maniac" from Flashdance? that's him...
