Sick Dog

My chihuahua mix (she is 9lbs) has been throwing up all night and has bad diarrhea. She has not eaten anything strange or different (that I know of) Can she get the flu that is going around for people?

Take her to the vet immediately she could have ingested something poisonous. My dog was poisoned and those were the first symptoms then he became lethargic and then there was blood in the vomit and diarreah. This was all while at the vets trying to him help. Which unfortunately was not possible and I wasted no time getting to the vet either. I would take no chances with a dog that small my dog was 195 pounds and he did not make it. It may be something minor but don't chance it.
