Can't keep a good pit bull down

This is Red. After Hurricane Katrina there were many pits running loose in the south (there are a lot of pits in the south to start with).

Red was one of these homeless dogs and was 'adopted' by a stranger who fed him. After Red was hit by a car he managed to find his way back to his adopted home and was taken for emergency care. He is now with Best Friends.

He just keeps on going and going. This dog has a strong will to survive. I'm glad he is not here they would make you muzzle the poor guy.

I think muzzling Red would start a revolution. After all he's been through losing his legs, surviving the hurricane, than muzzle him....ouch...I would like to see them try....I think poop would hit the fan real quick:D

What a great survival story,I am glad he is with Best Friends a wonderful place to be.
