Loss of a friend

Lost my companion and best frient of 18 years two days ago. Cronic renal failure and and heart problems. I know there are a lot of special pets (family members) out there but truly he was the best. Don't know how we will get along without him. He died in my arms after a year of in home IV's and delicate care. He didn't care. He was a mixed breed, spitz and pekineese.

So sorry about your dog.:(
But he was so lucky to live his whole, very long life with you, and to be loved til the last minute.

I am very sorry for your loss - 18 years is a wonderful long life...you must have taken very good care of your little guy.

It is so hard to lose a good dog. I assure you it hurts less and less as time goes by.

I know how you feel, I lost my Rusty in March of this year he was 16 years old. It is so hard at first but it does get easier.

We kept Rusty's ashes in an urn beside his picture and paw print in our living room where he spent most of his time with us.

He has come back to visit me once that I know of....I'm sure yours will too! (just believe)
