From the Globe and Mail, today

'But he is not an automaton. Mr. Harper was at the Mayerthorpe service, and when he recounted it later to his staff, tears filled his eyes. When the family cat was run over by a car outside Stornoway, Mr. Harper was distraught. The staff in his office circulated a condolence card, and not in jest'.

Well it is nice he does have a heart under that cold exterior of his. But just remember he will send women and gays back decades with his antiquated views on abortion and gay marriage and our rights as citizens. Really listen to this guy when he talks, I find it rather scary.

You have to question a reporter who points out that offering condolences to someone who has lost a family pet is an act that is done "not in jest". Gee, the rest of us are laughing at our friends' losses.

That Harper sure is a sensitive guy.

Maybe the scientist who designed his newer model robot body added saline secreting tubes...
