Here is a little stray that stayed with us for almost a year! (until a very kind member on this board helped find her a forever home:love: )

Here is a beautiful guy I dubbed Caesar, he showed up in my yard one day (the sweetest cat I ever met) but disappeared soon after:sad: I hope he found his way home:)

OOoooh what's his story badger?

This guy has been coming to my back porch to eat 2-3 times a day. Sometimes he hangs around afterwards, sits on the window ledge and looks in. He actually let me scratch him behind the ears this morning, a huge advance. I can tell he really wants to come in but is afraid of my cats, and with reason. His eye is very bad - weepy and draining pus.
I am desperate to find a solution for him but in a 2 1/2, five cats would take me right over the top into loco land.

Does he have an eyeball in there? :(

I don't mean to take away the spot light from that bugger, but here's my friend's Maine Coon... He's a cutie but he scares me a little.:o

badger, where's that poor fellaw at the moment ? Are you in Montreal ? I'm willing to contribute a little to get him seen by a vet. At least, even if he stays outside, he wouldn't have to stand the pain he must be feeling...

Inverness, I'm in Montreal. Thanks for the offer. I'm happy to take him to the vet, the problem is I don't have anywhere to put him afterwards, where the eye can be cleaned and treated 2-3X a day and he can just recover generally from life on the street. Ideally, he needs a long-term foster, I know they are scarce.

Awww,I LOVE orange cats,but I was never lucky enough to own one,all my cats just kind of happened,no choice in colour!
I hope some wonderful person will step up and care for Badgers poor stray,the cold of the winter is bad enough,imagine having a painful infection on top of that:sad:
Doesn't anybody have room to foster this poor little guy???
