It's bugging me because after a 5.5 hour lab today, my brain is ded. DED! And I can't think of any other brindles other than pitties, boxers, greyhounds, whippets... And he ain't none of those. I see NEWF, I tell you! Newwwf!

Prin
January 11th, 2006, 11:32 PM

Pointer newf.

January 11th, 2006, 11:37 PM
My cousin had a dog that looked like your friends', but he was not the same color, just the same size and 'look'. But he also knew the mix, and his was a red golden retriever and a German Shepherd.

Lissa
January 11th, 2006, 11:39 PM

Lissa
January 11th, 2006, 11:43 PM

mona_b
January 12th, 2006, 06:56 AM
And the answer is!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monster as a Rottie/Irish Setter...........:D

After seeing Monster(even in person)I have come to realize that the brindle colouring doesn't mean that it comes from a breed that has brindle as a colour.

It's funny because when I said newf about Boo, nobody saw it!

Not me.....:D

Lissa
January 12th, 2006, 08:02 AM
What a neat mix...not only the colour of the coat was giving me a hard time but also the "texture"...

That was fun - I can't wait until you find another one to confused us with!

Prin
January 12th, 2006, 08:46 PM
So if he was bred for profit, he'd be an "Irish Rotter"? :D (I met a few of those at the post office- they don't have too many clothes dryers over there and it rains all the time... )

mona_b
January 12th, 2006, 10:36 PM

mona_b
January 12th, 2006, 10:55 PM
TobsterMom,now I can see why..........:)

Prin, what is it with you and the Newfies???????

Something tells me in your next life you are going to be one.........:D

Prin
January 12th, 2006, 11:01 PM
I had one when I was too little to remember and I love them. I want one. But I have to get a puppy so the man won't be allergic to it (he's not allergic to puppies and if he is with them as they grow and get all dandery, he's less allergic...). But puppies is hard work!

And plus, Boo is a newf.:p
