oo I love a good comeback. (Even if it's directed at me.:))

Slapstick humor (even if it's directed at me...)

A good belly-aching laugh. (Like the time Boo farted in his sleep so I hid under the covers and as soon as I was under, the sleeping BF cut one... There was nowhere to go!)

I need one of those hehe

I love it when i wake up and my kitties are sleeping near my bed. What do you know? My cats are just as lazy, or maybe they trained me to be lazy like them. hmmm

I love it even more when Peanut's sitting on my bed when I wake up. She's a bit reserved so it takes her some effort to be that close.

When Kaos GETS one of his commands in obedience training, and it actually works. (you can actually see his little computer brain going, "OH, I get it"

When Bear gets his "puppy dreams" and his feet move a hundred miles an hour while he's sleeping, that one always cracks us up.

My hubby.

My son's morning face.

My new SUV. It's big, it's bad. hehehe

The fact that in 29 more sleeps, we're heading south. yay.

I love...

how just when I'm in my lowest, most sinister, cynical, bah-humbug, scroogey, phooey on everything, 'crawl under a rock and just hide' state of mind, someone, somewhere, even if it is out in cyberland, forces me to remember something good and prevents me from actually crawling under that rock in a fit of self-pity.

being awake to watch the sunrise, but not because I couldn't sleep, just got home from work, or have to go to work

time to drink my coffee from a regular mug, not a travel mug

the squinty-eyed face that my kitties make just before they flop over for a belly rub

the first hummingbird to return in the spring

waking up to the sound of loons, the morning chill in the air, and the smell of cedar, dirt, and a damp sleeping bag

big, fat lake-effect snowflakes

the total doggie uproar that happens when I/we get home

listening to a new CD for the first time and reading the liner notes

getting a REALLY good haircut, one that only takes a minute to do in the morning

having complete trust in my husband

the crackling sound of a fire

making a perfect omelet

long, summer evening walks, just me and the dogs

(This was a really good exercise for me right now. Sorry if I got a little long-winded. :o )

the total doggie uproar that happens when I/we get homeI forgot this one. Jemma howls for the man all the time, but I only get it on special occasions so it makes it sweeter.

I love unexpected but not harmful weather.

Definitely that very first cup of coffee in the morning. But most of all that my hubby loaded the beans into the Cuisinart Grind-n-Brew before going to bed so that it's all ready for me when I wake up at 5a. No cup of coffee the rest of the day is as satisfying as that 1st cup.

Warm summer nights when I can drive with the top off my car.

Sunlight coming through stained glass. Color & light! That would have to include candlelight coming through a cut crystal glass of wine.

Turtles! The chocolate, caramel, & pecans kind.

Homemade lemon meringue pie made with fresh, sour lemons. Tart & sweet. Lemon bars satisfy if I'm too lazy to make the pie.

Favorite meal - Hot soup, hearty bread (torn, not sliced) with cold salty butter, and a good glass of wine. Who needs the entree?

Spring roses. Summer Crepe Myrtle. Fall foliage. Winter Persimmons hanging on a bare tree.

Den-Den or Corky snuggling under the covers before they get too warm and move.

That half-light when the sun is just coming up and also when the sun has just gone down. So fresh in the morning and so soft in the evening.

Chewy chocolate browny edges and corners that I've trimmed off to make nice shaped bars.

A long, goodnight backrub from my hubby.

Sunflowers & tulips

Driving in my Jeep with the top off

Listening to my daughter breathe when she is sleeping

Cozmo when he is rolled up in a ball sleeping in the sunshine

Rocky when I come home at the end of the day and he does his "happy dance" :)

The smell of my bird's feathers on her warm body as she snuggles under my chin

My husband when he is being sweet and/or funny

The fact that my 11 year old daughter is happy with the person she is becoming

Chocolate ice cream!!!!!

Bubble gum
