I think these guess the breeds are kind of fun so I am going to play
Corey is about 7 yrs old...we got him from the SPCA 2 years ago, about 65lbs and 25" tall, i think he is one major mutts and we love him no matter what he is :) I have ideas but would like to see what other think :)
here he is...

Dobie lab?

What I do is I resize them rather than compressing them. You can use Microsoft Picture manager and resize them bit by bit (you have to save it after each resize to see how small it got though, but save it as something else because once it's saved, you can't undo).

I do not see rottie at all, possibly dobie hound pointer. Then again could be a mix of 10 breeds. Very cute

Yeah - Rottie or Dobie or GSD something. Who knows?

But I just want to say THANK YOU for adopting a 5 year old large black dog.:thumbs up

They rarely get new homes and most die in shelters.

Wow is that true? What a shame !!! My next rescue dog is going to be big and black then !!! (And with my itty bitty beige dog they should make quite a pair. :) )

I guess I could see a little something pointer in his face in the second pic--the flat forehead with the long nose...

Everything would have somebody's hair showing... I heard that in the States, they have rescues just for black doggies because nobody wants them. :(

that is so sad...big black dogs...or little black dogs are my favorite....i have always had a thing for black dogs...he was in the pound for 5 weeks before we got him...he is the best dog i have ever own...aside from the dog leash aggresion....but i can control that. One lady yelled at my boyfriend when he was walking corey one time cause he was growling at her dog...corey very vocal but we make him sit and have a haltie and martingale on him so he can't escape...anyway...her dog was off leash and came running across the road and she gave him crap cause of our dog...saying we are just dumb kids (27 but I'll take kid)..pfftt...her dog wasn't on the leash....we let her know there are by-laws...pfft...anyway...it is sad that people don't adopt big black dogs

That's too bad that a neighbor would be so rude....

I'm gonna guess..... rottie/pointer.....

Reasons? I see a bit of bulk on the top half, and slender legs, but not so long as a dobbie's..... I dunno, just a guess.
