My Suzie is a pit bull, Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.... She LOVES to chew.
Her favorites so far are the Tire Biter and Nyla-bones

I'm wondering if anyone has any toys that their dogs love to destroy!?

My dog refuses to chew!

He loves to rip apart squeky toys but doesn't chew on any toys I but specifically for that pupose!

I did buy him an everlasting treat ball and he has been chewing on it - only because there's some rawhide and treats in the middle though. He's just not a heavy chewer.

I love Rhodesians! What's you dog's name!?

I have the same problem with my pit bull and am always looking for something she can't destroy in 2 minutes.

I just picked up this toy for her. It makes a horrible loud screech that she LOVES, and so far she hasn't been able to puncture it, although she's trying!

It's called a "CUZ" and is basically a thick, hollow rubber ball with feet!

hahah ya! we have a Cuz too! we bought a" Devil Cuz" and a "franken CUZ". the franken cuz had two bolts in the sides of the "head" and Suzie chewed those and the feet off. But they were smaller than the Normal white cuz.

hehe

The Cuz so far is the best, i totally forgot about it too! It's been in our backyard the whole time hiding

hehe

The newest ones i bought are rubber versions of those "Greenies" dog breath treats. They're so far holding up, and come in different chew strengths. =)

It's called a "CUZ" and is basically a thick, hollow rubber ball with feet!

I bought one of these for my dogs(also Pitties:) ) for Christmas. My little girl absolutely LOVED it. She never damaged it at all. But then Copper decided to try it out one day, and he had a foot off within 2 minutes! The Zoe had it again and managed to get the other foot off of it (monkey see, monkey do!) The squeeker has been taken out as well. So now that there's a gaping hole in the bottom of it, it is garbage as now they continue to pick pieces off of poor CUZ!!

Zoe loves chewing and she's not that destructive unless the toy has been damaged by Copper. He manages to make it easier for her to grasp on the damaged piece to rip it apart!

Needless to say their Christmas toys are already finished!!

Yeah. I'm pretty peeved about that! Chloe chased and chewed it for about 1 hour total and the squeaker fell out! I think it should hold up better than that. It's not a cheap toy!!

I was thrilled when the squeeker fell out. SILENCE!! :D But you can get a bigger one. It doesn't squeak though- it kind of farts...:D I got one for my bro's pitties and they love it.

Natural raw bones are priceless.
They don't destroy them in 30 secs and they clean their teeth, exercise their gums and provide rich nutrition. However they can be greasy so it is best to give a fresh one in a crate or outside until its cleaned off.
If you like this idea be sure to introduce it slowly. There is rich nutrition inside and you don't want to create a cranky tummy. Freeze the bone and offer it for 10 mins at a time until you see there is no tummy upset. OR defrost the bone and scrape out the marrow from inside and put it in the fridge. Give the dog the scraped out bone and add a tblsp of the marrow to his food every day until you see he has adjusted.
The marrow is very good for your dog, but it is as if you were a vegetarian and decided to have a steak - your stomach would get very upset. It doesn't mean the steak was bad it just means your system couldn't handle all of that richness. Because most people feed kibble - their dogs systems are fairly sterile and a raw bone could cause a problem in the beginning. so do it slowly but soon enough you should be able to give him a whole bone and all will be fine.
After the marrow and meat has been scraped off, the hollow white bone can be freshened with a schmear of peanut butter or soft cheese. Our dogs have hundreds of these bones in the house and pasture and we don't freshen them but they still enjoy them for years.

OH geeze - I know Chloe would love that one!:eek

Agree with Tenderfoot - raw bones are best. My dog gets marrow bones on a regular basis and she just loves them!:)

Tucker destroyed the white CUZ, and the dino-CUZ. Once he discovered he could chew a foot off... the rest was destroyed in a matter of minutes. Virtually everything he got for xmas is destuffed, desqueeked, and torn to pieces. (at least he had fun for a little while)

The only ones to survive are the "talk to me" treat ball (it's in rough shape, but had it since September), the black kong, and the bones.

West Paw Designs "ZogoFlex" - Hurley and Huck toys and the Chewber frisbee type of toy (can also be used as a plate) as my 22 lb. destructo Eskie has pointed out.

Sprint chews but doesn't really destroy, thankfully. I got him a blue CUZ for xmas and he absolutely loves it. I also got him this stuffed bird, it's sqeaker sounds like a duck. He likes to just lay there and make the duck noise, not so good for a New Years hangover. ;) He has a Tire Biter, Nyla Bone and well all sorts of toys that he likes to nibble on. The only thing he really goes crazy over trying to destroy is a tasty bone. Oh and this wierd tennis ball beaver thing; the poor thing was decapitated in about 5 minutes. I don't think he liked that squeaker.

Aren't the dino cuz ones really soft rubber? I felt one and quickly moved on because it wasn't as tough as the evil cuz...
