Joey.E.CockersMommy December 8th, 2005, 09:29 PM I while back a got Joey a new bed. When I got home today in his bed, was his dish, 2 mismatched socks, his stuffies, and a plastic water bottle. Just to see what Joey would do, I took his dish and put it back to its spot in the kitchen. Joey went back to the kitchen picked up his dish and put back in his bed.
I guess thats his way of tell me that thats his pad now. :D
Dragonfly December 8th, 2005, 11:12 PM It could be worse - he could be hoarding cats!
Prin December 8th, 2005, 11:28 PM Or he could be taking all the stuff to your bed...:D
shannonRN December 9th, 2005, 12:39 AM When we first adopted MooShu, she was unspayed...we had to take her in like a week later to do the deed. Anyway, at first she hoarded everything, whimpered all the time, and then she started lactating. Boy was that a surprise. If Joey starts lactating, you really have something to worry about! Sounds like he's right at home with his new bed.
joeysmama December 9th, 2005, 08:26 AM That's so cute. I have a friend whose dog hoarded her underwear. She would take them out of the dirty clothes hamper, she wasn't interested in the clean ones. Kathleen would come home and find the dog's bed filled with her maternity panties. And she only did this while Kathleen was pregnant.
At least if you have company it's not too embarassing for them to find Joey's dish in his bed. If he were lying on a pile of your unmentionables.........and the preacher drops by for Sunday dinner. Yikes !:o
BMDLuver December 9th, 2005, 08:27 AM Lol, Spaniels love to drag everything to their spot to keep it safe. I think that's so cute.
Lissa December 9th, 2005, 08:42 AM That's so cute! :D
jawert1 December 9th, 2005, 09:14 AM perhaps post a pic of joey's new bed and packrat items? :-D Sorry, I had a springer that did this too with her toys AND my senior cat (Tigs was 10 when we got Lady Rootbeer) and tho she resisted at first, she got used to it after awhile ;)
Joey.E.CockersMommy December 9th, 2005, 05:28 PM I will post a pic when I can get hold of our digicam off topic but Joey just actually threw his dish down the stairs. I guess maybe that means we wants his dinner early. I think he actually meant to drop on top of the stairs but it tumbled all the way down.
lm9012 December 9th, 2005, 06:52 PM Albert takes our clothes. It's actually preety cute IMO..whenever we can't find something...good bet it's in his bed! I've caught him in there with our socks, shirts, etc. When we first got him he actually preferred sleeping in our hamper!
