My neighbour came by and dropped off this news article about a new dog kibble that her co-worker is giving her allergy prone doggy, what do you think?

looks good, although i don't know how than can legally call this food "salmon and potato" since the ingredients are salmon meal, oats, millet and barley? and potatoes are incidental down the list. strange.

Their Chicken, Rice and salmon blend is the same with the funny labelling. Salmon is wayyy down the list. But they can do whatever they want because they're a Canadian company and the AAFCO is American, right? Sneaky.
It looks ok, but I'm a bit sceptical about feeding only one protein source if there are no allergies involved. You know?

also the biggest allergens in dog food are grains, not meat... this food has 3 different sources of grain. NOT an allergy-food IMO.

But it's by far not the worst food around.;)
