mesaana December 5th, 2005, 10:29 PM Here is Vega, my new dog!!! :)
I'm adopting her from Sasha's Den. I met her this week-end and she is absolutely lovely!!! Great attitude, quiet, absolutely beautiful!!!
She went to the clinic to get spayed today. Poor girl, she was pregnant (she was a stray) but no more babies for her!
I can't wait to introduce her to Romeo... I'm sure they'll get along just fine. We already know she gets along just fine with cats and dogs. I'm sooo excited! I can't get her for a little bit as I'm presently looking for an apartment in Ottawa. But hopefully in a couple of weeks. Marie-Christine from Sasha's Den has offered to keep her until I get my new place :thumbs up

Lucky Rescue December 6th, 2005, 10:28 AM Romeo looks great! No more problems with his neck??
BoxerRescueMTL December 6th, 2005, 10:45 AM YAAAAAAAAAAAAY Lyne!!! That is great news :) Congrats! I am sure Marie Christine is thrilled that Vega got such a super mom. And yes, Sasha's Den is a great rescue and MC has the biggest heart.
mesaana December 6th, 2005, 05:28 PM Thanks Crystal.
I spoke to the receptionist at the clinic this morning and poor Vega was sick overnight with vomiting and diarrhea and she was not feeling well. So she was to stay on fluids today and M-C told me she was going to stay an extra night.
I just called the clinic now and no more vomiting or diarrhea, and she ate some food. Yay!
Lucky: No more problems with Romeo's neck? Are you kidding? It's a constant problem. It comes and goes all the time, seemingly no matter what I do. It doesn't get infected anymore, at least. I've done I don't know how many food trials in case it's food allergies (I'm trying Z/D now :fingerscr ). My next apartment (I'm moving very soon) will not have carpet, in case it's related to that (house dust mites, for example). I really wish I could find a cause, but it's not always possible in these cases. At least he hasn't had Depo-Medrol in quite a while, so it is better :)
But he's so lovable, it doesn't matter!
chico2 December 6th, 2005, 05:37 PM Romeo looks like he's saying"You're bringing what into my house,grrrr"
Both Vega and Romeo are beautiful:love: Good Luck!!
mesaana December 6th, 2005, 08:00 PM Thanks Chico!
He does look angry on that picture... but it's so out of character. I really think it was just the flash... :)

chico2 December 7th, 2005, 04:33 PM Mesaana,is Vega a white German Shepard?To me with my untrained doggie-eyes,she looks like one:confused:
mesaana December 7th, 2005, 05:19 PM Chico,
she does look like a german shepherd, doesn't she? She's not white, she's cream colored. We think there might be some husky or nordic breed in there too. But since she's a foundling, we'll never know :)
