A few more things:

Plaster posters all over, offering a "reward" but do not state the amount.

Go out late at night, when your neighbourhood is dark and quiet and call him or rattle a box of his treats. Cats usually don't go too far. He may be closer than you think, but afraid to come out during the day. I have found my own cats, who wandered off, this way.

Walk through any alleys or near sheds where he might hide. Ask neighbours to check garages.

Visit any nearby shelters daily and don't rely on phone calls.

Please let us know if you find him.:fingerscr

Don't forget web sites like Cat in the Bag or Pet detective. THey have some great ideas when one is searching for lost pets. Lost kitties are often very scared and act completley differently than we might expect them to.

Thanks for the infomations. Today I made copies of flyers and put them in everyone's mailbox nearby. I also made some color copies flyers and stick them on the polls.

I went to Vancouver SPCA shelter and no luck so far.

I am keeping my fingers cross. :fingerscr

HE HAS BEEN FOUND TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone called in the phone no# on the flyer that we put in households' mailbox and told us that our cat is inside his house. His house is actually within the same block from our house.

He stated that he usually opened the back door to let his cat come in the house and somehow our cat went in his house also.

Our cat was hiding under the sofa when we walked into the living room and he makes "meow" sounds when he saw us. We kind of have to pull him out under the sofa and he seems scared.

We put blankets around him and took him back home. He is now acting normal again as if nothing happened.

SO HAPPY!!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE'S INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
