Hi everyone, I swear, I am not a spammer and I have never done anything like this before. Usually, I am the one helping but this time I can't.

I recently adopted a black Lab/Golden Mix. She is 6 months old and came from a home that neglected her. When she first came into my home (about 5 minutes after making her way into my heart), she was infested with fleas and worms. She was not used to attention and was frightened of everything. Even my cats. I noticed that she had a funny walk so I did some research on the web and came to the conclusion that it might be hip dysplasia. After meeting with the vet/orthopedic specialist I found out I was right.

Molly needs surgery ASAP as her hip dysplasia is severe. They can do a TPO (Triple Pelvic Osteotomy) but it has to be done before she's done growing.

I will do anything I can to raise money for Molly's surgery, anything.

are you sure it's not "growing pains" there is a scientific name to it, my labX pup was suffering from it, and was put on Metacam, I can't put her in agility till she's 18 months, but her limp is gone and she's walking straight and proud. Good luck with Molly

Are you thinking of Panosteitis?

My cousins GSD had this.It's more or less travels through all four legs.It hit hers the hardest with the back leg.I could go on,but don't want to threadjack...LOL

*L* thanks Mona_b, panosteitis is exactly what I was thinking of, I didn't feel like getting Brina's papers out to read the name, the vet calls it "growing pains" for short *S*

When we were running up huge bills trying to help Joey we used something called Care Credit. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but my understanding is that the vet will accept this method of paying on time rather than expecting everything up front.
