watery eye

I have two cats and my tabby/siamese cross has a watery eye. It started watering a little and getting a black crust that we wiped away with a warm cloth. She doesn't seem irritable and is acting the same as before. We recently went away for a few days and the person looking after her didn't notice it. When we returned she looked like she was crying. It was a clear liquid and it seemed to be pouring out. In the morning it seemed to slow down but still looks watery. Her eye looks kinda bloodshot and a bit sensitive but she is in the same spirits as before her eye acted up. My other cat is fine and it doesn't seem to be infectious to him. Any suggestions? Could she have allergies? Thanks for your help.:)

If she has no other symptoms, it sounds like she may actually have a foreign body in her eye.

I would have the vet check it out.
